An essential part of your job here at Safety Provisions will be using the style guide in all of the content you create. This guide is not here to limit your creative freedom but to maintain our brand identity and keep our content consistent.
Keep in mind that this training covers both the corporate style guide and the graphics style guide. The graphic style guide is an extension or addition to the corporate style guide but they are housed different places on Zendesk (the corporate style guide is its own section, while the graphics style guide is in the media section). Follow the guidelines found in the main style guide and the addition as much as possible.
This presentation is mainly focused on visual elements, like logos, fonts, colors, and graphics. Each component of the style guide can also be found in an article on Zendesk. Here are the articles which are covered in the presentation:
- Fonts
- Colors
- Logos & Favicons
- Branded Elements (stick figure man, graphic color palette, arrows, tables, etc.)
- Graphic Fonts & Titles
Additional material that is more focused on writing can be found in the corporate style guide section of Zendesk. Below you can find a few articles you should review in conjunction with your training that is not in the presentation.
As you go through this PowerPoint, be sure to take note of things that seem especially important and record any questions you have. If you think of anything that needs to be added or adjusted, leave a comment on this article below.
