As we grow and develop as a department, we take on a variety of different projects. Because of this, we learn a lot about how things work in our department along the way. To help future employees have a good idea of what working for QA will be like, we create videos of our previous projects. These videos summarize what the project entailed and what we learned.
To make one of these videos, you can use the company's Loom account. Once you get to Loom, click on "Sign in with Google." You should be able to use LastPass to login with the hardhattrainingseries@gmail.com email.
To get some examples of how these videos look and sound, check out some of our Previous Projects.
Outline
You are welcome to structure the video in any way that makes the most sense to you. Here is an outline or set of questions that can help you decide what to say.
- Summary
- What was the purpose of the project?
- What process did we follow for each project entry?
- Where did we get the information for the project?
- Retrospective
- What did we learn from this project? (think of the Project Retrospective)
- What were things that we decided we could improve upon?
- What were some things that went well?
- What features, software, or tips helped you along the way?
- How will this project/list/audit be continued, repeated, or used in the future?
- What did we learn from this project? (think of the Project Retrospective)
