There are several different formats in which writers will use the graphics you create. Because most PowerPoint trainings are made for Hard Hat Training, we will look at the graphic slides in this format. By using the PowerPoint and inserting the graphic, we can prevent having to recreate graphics that were not the correct size.
When the writers send you graphic requests, they should also provide you with the slide which the graphic will be placed inside of a PowerPoint that will explain details about the graphic. These will look like one of these options, or a similar one.

When you have finished the drafts of your graphics, and before you have submitted them to the writers, export your graphics and place them into the slide they have sent to see if the sizing is correct. If not, you can adjust to ensure the graphic fits on the slide without needing to be cropped or stretched.
