A critical part of videos is audio. For our trainings, we use a variety of voiceovers, sound effects, and music to help convey safety principles. A few of the audio elements we use are:
- Voiceovers or Narration - We record our own voiceovers at the office. These allow a person to hear the safety principles discussed as they are presented. This often requires the use of scripts and voice actors. You can find our script and script templates here: /Learning Development/6__Scripts
- Background Music - We use background music that matches the feeling and pace of each specific video. Often times we use the same audio for certain parts of our videos. You can find the background music we have used here: /M-Drive/03-Audio/music
- Sound Effects - We also use sound effects that help to add depth to our videos. You can find the sound effects we use here: /M-Drive/03-Audio/sfx
As you add audio to your video, whether its a full size training or a 30 second video, be sure to follow theses guidelines to ensure we are making consistent and professional video content.
